Duties
This is a full-time position supporting the work of the Economic Section (ECON) as an Economic Specialist. Working with minimal supervision, the incumbent manages the Special Self-Help grants program, supervises one locally employed staff member, and is responsible for gathering information and analyzing a portfolio of economic issues, primarily environment, health, science and technology issues, This position is directly supervised by the Economic Office Chief, FS-01.
Qualifications and Evaluations
- Requirements:
- EXPERIENCE: A minimum of five (5) years of experience in economics, international affairs, public policy, business administration, social sciences, or law is required.
- Education Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in any of the following areas: Economics, International Affairs, Public Policy, Business Administration, or International Law is required.
- Evaluations:
- LANGUAGE: Fluent oral and written English is required. (This may be tested).
