VGMA 2023: List Of Winners, Performances And Fashions

The 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards night began with a live band performance by gospel musician Piesie Esther, followed by Kidi performing three songs.

Other artists who took the stage to entertain patrons included DSL (unsung artist of the year), Epixode, Lasmid, Gyakie, King Promise, Kwabena Kwabena, Medikal, Ofori Amponsah Pheelz from Nigeria, and DSL (unsung artist of the year).

Black Sherrif’s electrifying performance, performing his hit songs back to back, from Konongo Zongo to Paradise to Soja, no doubt moved the crowd like no other.

VGMA Pays respect to all the souls we lost

A minute of silence was observed in memory of industry players who died in the previous year.

Sol Amarfio, AB. Crentsil, Isaac Taylor, Smart Arpeh Thompson, Paa Joe, Martin Luther Owusu, Rudebwoy Ranking, DJ Rab, Ekow Blankson, and Ghanaian football star Christian Atsu were among those killed in a Turkish earthquake.
