VGMA 2023: Who Wins The Artiste Of The Year?

The main question trending on the street of Ghana is, who wins the artiste of the year on tonight’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA). The ‘Artiste of the year’ category is really tough this year.

The 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards comes off tonight at the Grand Arena (Accra International Conference Centre) 7pm promptly.

The hosts for this year’s VGMA are renowned Television personality, Berla Mundi, talented actor, James Gardiner and also Naa Ashorkor.

Now, back to the main question, who wins tonight’s ‘Artiste of the year’ award?

Its been a run and a whole year (2022) for Black Sherif. He has been nominated for several categories for tonight’s awards at the grand arena.

After winning the 2022 Artiste of the year, Kidi has once again been nominated for this award category for the third time in a row after he lost 2021 ‘Artiste of the year’ to Gospel talented musician, Diana Antwi Hamilton, the ‘ADOM’ hitmaker.

The top voices on the streets and on the nets are tipping an easy win for Black Sherif ahead of his top competitor, Piesie Esther. There is no two ways and doubts about the fact that Piesie will win tonight’s Gospel song of the year.
