John Kapi, a spokesperson for WAEC, highlighted the need for thorough scrutiny and verification of candidates submitted by SDA SHS against their enrollment list. In addition, it has been recommended to WAEC’s management to derecognize SDA SHS as an examination center.

WAEC bans SDA SHS students from participating in the upcoming WASSCE for School stems from the school’s involvement in allowing unauthorized individuals to use their login code and uniform to register unqualified students for the examination. This fraudulent activity has raised serious concerns about the integrity of the examination process.
The suspects involved in this fraudulent activity, Robert Hackman and Kwabena Baah Achemfour, have been apprehended and are currently assisting the Swedru District Police Headquarters in their investigation. The joint efforts of the National Security Intelligence Unit and WAEC security led to the arrest of the suspects while they were attempting to register the candidates.
