5) When 4 is added to thrice a certain number and the sum is doubled, the result is 14 more than 6 times the number. Find the number
6) Make ‘a’ the subject of the relation; t= a/b+s
7) Mr. Hammond withdraws a sum of money from the bank. He gave 3/4 of it to his son and 1/4 to his daughter. If he had 800 Ghana Cedis left, how much did he take from the bank?
8) The perimeter of a rectangular plot whose length is (2x+5)m and width (x-10)m is 80m. Find the following;
I. Value of ‘x’ ii. Area of the plot.
