WASSCE 2023: Key Things All Final Year Students Should Know
WASSCE 2023 is set to begin from August to September 2023. Final-year students are yet to be registered for the upcoming WAEC examination.
2022 WASSCE graduates passed the WASSCE exceptionally despite staying at home for a whole year without any classes or learning.
The 2022 WASSCE was quite shaky for Ghanaian candidates because they were the only ones left to write the WASSCE as Nigerians gained a massive pass rate of about 73%.
The baton has been passed on to the next badge of students. Final-year students getting ready to write the 2023 WASSCE examination set by WAEC should take note of the following things before 2022 ends.
1. Be determined and dedicated
Dedication and determination surely lead to success. The WASSCE exam is not as scary as it seems. Trust me, we’ve all passed through that process before. The toil, the struggle, the late night sleep, the ‘chew and pour’, the stress and anxiety we’ve all gone through such process before.
Besides, if you are not able to pass your WASSCE exams very well you can’t continue to the tertiary level of education which may see you opt for a resit the following year.
I urge all 2023 aspiring WASSCE candidates to be more determined than ever and be abreast and dedicate their time to their books more often.
Besides, without dedication, you’re leaving no legacy.
2. Draw a timetable
In life in order to be successful we plan right? In RME in JHS you thought of the wise ways to spend money right? Drawing a budget is the sole way to spend money. Here, in academics, you have to draw your own personal timetable that you have and, just follow it accordingly.
3. Have enough rest
Trust me my dear aspiring candidates if you don’t prepare well and have enough sleep before you wrote your WASSCE exams you will be worn out.
Take a break or a nap when you feel tired when learning. Always make sure that aside from your book and studies your health is also your priority in order to pass this exam.
There is a saying that goes ‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy and all play and no work makes Jack a lazy boy’.
4. Do Not Procrastinate
Procrastination is the thief of time they say, yes it is indeed the thief of time. We ideally have 24 hours in a day, and we must spend it wisely.
You will be happy to keep postponing because you have 4 or 5 months to begin the 2023 WASSCE but trust me it’s as short as the shortest man alive.
Do not postpone your studies. Make sure to do the right thing at the right time.
I urge all aspiring candidates to take heed of these 4 key things in order to pass their 2023 WASSCE successfully.
