WASSCE 2023: Sample Picture Making Questions To Try
The 2023 WASSCE started on the 31st of July 2023 and will end on the 26th of September 2023. Here are some sample picture making questions for all visual arts students.
The date for the picture making exams is Monday 21st August 2023. These are our well-analyzed sample questions for all Visual Arts candidates.
Answer all the questions below;
1. a. Define the term ‘Marquetry.
b. Briefly explain how to compose and execute an ‘imaginative’ in marquetry.
c. Briefly explain the following terms;
i. Blinder ii. Wash iii. Glazing iv. Vanishing point v. Triadic Scheme
2. Explain the terms ‘focal point’ and ’emphasis’
a. List two main difference between ‘focal point’ and ’emphasis’ in composition
b. State three (3) methods of creating emphasis in an imaginative picture in composition.
c. Define the term ‘Cave painting’
d. Discuss cave painting under the following headings;
i. Media ii. Style iii. Beliefs iv. Function
3. Explain the term ‘Studio maintenance’
4. What is digital painting?
a. Explain the term traditional painting
b. Explain four advantages of digital painting over traditional painting technique
5. Discuss five (5) social significant of body art in Ghana
a. Discuss five (5) factors that would influence the setting up of a picture making enterprise.
These are our well analyzed questions for the upcoming Picture making questions for all Visual Arts students. Candidates are advised to use these sample questions to revise as they have about seventy-two (72) hours to sit for their examination.
