Mahama Speaks On Ghana’s Match Against Portugal
Former President John Dramani Mahama has stated that Ghanaians were not expecting the 3-2 results from Ghana against Portugal match yesterday. He was of the view that Ghanaians wanted a victory.
That notwithstanding, Mahama expressed optimism that the show from the Black Stars showed that Ghana has a “very determined side for this world cup. He remarked that our team is very young.
“That was not the result we were expecting from the game against Portugal. But we’ve confirmed that we are a very determined side for this World Cup.
Let’s continue to pray and support the team as they prepare for their second and final group matches. This team is a young team! A work in progress. We should be proud of them.”, Mahama wrote on his official Facebook wall.
Meanwhile, Portugal moves to the top of Group H whiles Ghana trails behind after Uruguay’s goalless draw with South Korea.
