Winners of 2nd Edition of Africa Early Childhood Education Awards
The 2nd Edition of Africa Early Childhood Education Awards held in Accra on November 19th, 2022 saw over 40 ward winners being honoured for their contributions to Early Childhood Education in Africa.
While delivering her speech as the Special Guest Of Honour Speech at the 2022 Africa Early Childhood Education Awards in Accra, the Dr Violet Makuku called on the government and other stakeholders to help early childhood educators deliver by providing both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation.
According to her such award events and recognitions are “important extrinsic motivational factors which, when combined with their intrinsic drive, can make more and better things happen to our young children in schools.”
She charged “government, the NGOs and other key stakeholders to work together and support the schools and staff in these academic institutions, through all the possible means”

9. Caregiver of the Year- Alice Konadu and Mary Asantewaa Mensah
10. Outstanding Educator of the year -Alberta Dadzie

12. Proprietor of the Year-Inusah Alhassan
13. Honorary Award for Supporting Early Childhood Education in Africa-World Vision Ghana.
Honorary Awards
14 Hannah Awadzi was honoured for her advocacy on cerebral Palsy.
She is the Founder of the Special Mother’s Project.
