2020 BECE results released by WAEC – Check Now

The 2020 BECE Results have been released by the West African Examination Council. The results according to the release by the council have been uploaded by WAEC onto the online portal and all candidates can check their results.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) says it has released the provisional BECE results of candidates for who sat for the 30th edition of the examination and can be accessed at http://ghana.waecdirect.org.
WAEC has released provisional results of candidates who sat the BECE for School Candidates, 2020 batch.

A total of 531,707 candidates representing 269,408 boys and 262,299 girls from 17,436 schools sat for the examination at 2,012 centres.
According to the non-profit-making organization, 1.59% were absent out of the total number of candidates who initially registered.
Candidates may purchase the results checker voucher and access their results online at https://ghana.waecdirect.org/
The BECE results have been delayed by the late start of the examination and the 2020 election. However, with the result now out, students and parents are looking forward to the release of the school placement.
Schools are resuming in January and students would want to know the various second cycle schools they have been placed in through the Computerised School Selection System.
How to check your results the WAEC way
- Enter your Index Number.
- Select the Type of Examination (e.g. BECE ).
- Select your Examination Year eg. 2020.
- Enter the Serial Number found on the Voucher.
- Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Voucher eg. 012345678912.
- Confirm your Index Number and Examination Year. This is to ensure that your examination information is correct.
- Click on Submit and wait for the display in the popup window. This may take several minutes.
