2022 BECE Candidates School Selection Date Out
The Ministry of Education has released the 2022 BECE Candidates School Selection Date for candidates who are expected to take the JHS leaving exams from Monday, 17th October.
According to the Ministry, the School Selection exercise will start with education for the public through the showing of videos and the playing of related audio on TV and radio from Monday, 24th October 2022 to 29th October 2022. The education and sensitization videos and audios on TV and radio aim at helping parents, candidates, and schools to understand the school selection procedure which will lead to the making of informed choices.
The actual school selection phase will begin on Monday 31st October and end on 18th November 2022. Candidates will choose schools across Secondary, vocational, and technical institutions at the second cycle level.
This will further ensure students are placed in schools and reduce the self-placement situation which has characterized the school placement results in the past four years.
