2023 School Placement: 372,780 candidates placed; 165, 619 to do self-placement
Accra, GNA, February 15 – 538,399 of the 547,329 applicants who took the 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) qualified for the Computerized School Selection Placement (CSSPS) in Senior High and Technical and Vocational Schools this year.

Dr. Nkansah advised parents and guardians to report dishonest persons to the police who may approach them and demand payment for placement in any amount.
Dr. Nkansah said that the Service has tightened internal controls to double-check the system’s integrity as part of efforts to reduce placement transgressions.
The Director-General encouraged parents to work with the school administration both before and after the admissions procedures and asked heads of all schools to adhere to the authorized prospectus.
He said the Service, in consultation with the Regional Directors of Education, had prepared one uniform prospectus for the schools.
In order to enhance their creative talents for the growth of the nation, 36,000 applicants, according to Mr. David Prah, Deputy Director General, Ghana Technical and Vocational Education and Training Service, have been assigned to technical and vocational institutions.
The candidates must obtain a placement pin code from an authorized vendor, log onto www.cssps.gov.gh, enter the 10-digit index number, add 22 as the year of completion, enter the serial number, and enter the pin code details. After clicking submit, the forms must be printed and brought to the school to start the admissions process.
The West African Examination Council started the 2022 BECE on Monday, October 17, and issued the results on January 25, 2023.
To solve problems with the manual method of selection and placement, the CSSPS went into operation in September 2005.
