The 2023 School Placement Will Be Out This Week On Anyday Between Monday, November 27th, and Thursday, November 30th, 2023.

The 2023 School Placement is out this week, as the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Ghana Education Service (GES) are expected to release the anticipated 2023 school placement for BECE graduates who sat for the 33rd edition of the examination administered by WAEC from August 7th to 11th, 2023.

Students will be placed in one of the 11 schools they selected. The candidates are expected to report to school on December 4th.

In all, some 300,000 candidates are expected to be automatically placed, while close to 200,000 are to use the self-placement module to select new schools and self-place into them.

2023 School Placement Out This Week: Public Notice on SHS Placement Release

Ahead of the school placement, the GES has outlined a set of public notices on the SHS placement release.

Let’s be aware of the following things to note when the placement is released:

1. There is usually a lot of traffic when the placement portal is opened. cssps.gov.gh. The public is to relax and not keep trying or forcing to check the placement when the site is not responding, or else you might invalidate your pin codes.

2. Always try to access the portal on a computer so you can print it out. You can also use your phone to save it as a PDF, get to a cafe or a photocopy shop, and print it out. We advise that if you don’t have strong internet, kindly get a computer with good internet.

3. Always refresh the site before keying in the details. Remember to add 23 to the end of your index in the first trial. Failure to do that in the first trial, as instructed on the site, will invalidate your PIN code on the second attempt.

When the above-mentioned is observed well, we assure smooth system placement checking this year.
