2023NSMQ Quarter Finals Trend and Winners So Far
The likes of Prempeh College, Pope John SHS, Opoku Ware, Wesley Girls’ High School, Achimota School, and St. Louis SHS all won their first rounds and the contest.
That’s a very interesting trend! It’s possible that schools that win round one are simply better prepared and more confident, which gives them an edge over the rest of the competition.
It’s also possible that schools that win round one learn with big margins and use these scores as a cushion as the contest gets more difficult in round two and beyond. Winning round one is like scoring an early goal and defending the lead throughout the contest
Whatever the reason, it’s clear that schools that win round one of the NSMQ have a better chance of winning the overall competition. This is something that schools should keep in mind as they prepare for the NSMQ in the future.
However, the last set of quart finals contests will be held on 17th October 2023 with some of the big boys in there.
