Man Gets Sentenced To Death
A 23-year-old man has been sentenced to death by hanging for doing this.
According to Nkanang, Menim Udoaya was found guilty and sentenced to death by hanging or lethal injection.
Menim Udoaya has been condemned to death by lethal injection or hanging.
On Friday, the Akwa Ibom State High Court in Uyo, the state capital, condemned him to death for the murder of his kinsman, Ben Clement Ben, in Use Ikot Amama, Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area.
Menim, 23, is accused of murdering Ben following a small argument with his uncle, Friday Ekereke Udoaya, at a village council meeting.

Menim is accused of hitting the dead with a piece of wood on January 4, 2018, at Use Ikot Amama Junction. Another man, Ini Friday Udoaya, is accused of killing the dead with a machete, but Ini was not among those paraded.
“The third accused individual, Menim Jolly Udoaya, who is reported to have used a piece of wood on the dead, is also implicated as a participant in the unholy show of young exuberance that cut short the deceased’s life,” stated the sitting judge, Justice Bassey Nkanang.
The state government was suing Friday Ekereke Udoaya, Kini Jolly Udoaya, Menim Jolly Udoaya, and Savior Maurice Udom.
The four defendants were facing a seven-count accusation of conspiracy to conduct a crime, intentional property damage, theft, serious hurt, conspiracy to kill, and murder
Menim Jolly Udoaya and his brothers, Friday Ekereke Udoaya and Kini Jolly Udoaya, were sentenced to two years in jail for conspiracy to conduct a crime in count one, and to two years in prison for intentional damage to property in count two.
Menim Udoaya was found guilty of murder and sentenced to death by hanging or lethal injection by Nkanang.
