Education Minister promises increased investment in basic infrastructure at London Forum

Haruna Iddrisu, Ghana’s Minister of Education, has declared a key scheme relocate heading to increasing funding in educational facilities with a firm attention on primary education.

Talking at the 21st Annual Education World Forum (EWF) in London, Mr. Iddrisu disclosed that the government ideas to emphasize the discarding of more than 5,000 schools recently running under trees over the country.

“Means of entry to standard education with better learning results—that is the inspiration of President Mahama’s government,” he said. “We focus to fund more in primary education.”

He said, following an evaluation of our education expend over the prior decade, you’ll find an unbalanced attention on free senior high school, oftentimes at the expense of primary education.
