Computing Science includes both the theory and practice of using and operating computers. This is a KNUST program.

Entry Requirements
Prior qualification in General Science (with emphasis on Physics and Elective Mathematics) is necessary for enrollment in this program
WASSCE (Ghana)
• Credit passes (A1 – C6) in core subjects • Credit passes in Elective Mathematics and any two of Chemistry, Physics, or Biology.
Mature
• Must be, at least, 25 years. • Should have a minimum of GCE/SSSCE/WASSCE Certificate or an equivalent qualification. • Must pass a University Entrance Exam.
Postgraduate
Masters (MPhil, MA, M.Sc.) A good first degree (at least a second class lower division) in a relevant field of study at any recognized University
PhD
Admission to this program will typically require a Master’s degree with research in the relevant field.
If an applicant is found to be deficient in any way, this may be remedied by requiring the applicant to make up the difference through coursework, a mini-project, or both.
