When a candidate is not placed but has this option, do not delay in taking it because, other candidates will end up choose all the best schools and programmes the further you delay.

#4. Fail the BECE by obtaining grade 9 in Mathematics or Integrated Science will mean that often you will have to re-sit these papers. This option will delay your entering of the second cycle institution by at least one year. Other options for candidates who have very low academic strength is for them to learn a vocation as apprentice instead of worrying themselves to re-sit and pass these papers. Education is the key but some can become successful without all the education. Do not follow the crowd, learn a vocation if you can and you will be glad you did.
