Annual Sosu Best Teachers Awards To Be Launched Today

The launch of the 2nd edition of the Annual Sosu Best Teachers Awards to motivate our hard-working Teachers and School Administrators is scheduled to take place today Friday, November 18, 2022

The initiative is by Hon. Francis Xavier Sosu, Member of Parliament for Madina.

The MP who describes himself as an individual who was once a Street Child who grew up to become a Human Rights and Public Interest Lawyer and Politician seeks to use this Annual Sosu Best Teachers Awards to inspire teaching and none teaching staff in the education sector within his constituency to give their very best to lift education higher within the constituency.

The event is scheduled to be held at PRESEC Legon premises, which is located within the constituency.

In a related development, Hon. Francis Xavier Sosu, Member of Parliament for Madina recently launched 6 books as part of his Sosu Inspirational Books project. In one of the books titled “The Bro Bono Lawyer Without Honours,” he spoke about how he became a victim of injustice while fighting against injustice. The book details how he escaped the grand conspiracy to end his career by the General Legal Council; lessons on the dangers of pro Bono practice in Ghana, Legal aid, Selfless Service, and how faith in God matters in law practice.

The MP as part of his efforts toward the creation of jobs has established the Madina Job centre which does not charge for job searches but instead creates an avenue for the youth to find jobs.

The Annual Sosu Best Teachers Awards To Be Launched adds to the fleet of social interventions initiated within the constituency to benefit the youth in Madina and its surrounding communities.
