Most candidates see BECE as the most difficult examination in the nation but, hey, it’s rather the easiest examination you can pass in your life in this era. In this article, I will share with you some basic things you have to know before you sit down to write your paper.

In everything you do in this life, God should be the beginning and also the end of every step you take in your life. You may see that this is just an examination and doesn’t need spiritual interventions. It is totally false, it is the Holy Spirit who gives retentive memory. You need to commit yourself to God’s hand.

Make sure that the day before you begin your examination you don’t indulge in anything that will affect you mentally, you need to sit in one place and refresh your brain on everything you have learned. Adapt to new ways of memorizing long Acronyms (Mnemonics) example; the life cycle of a mosquito is; Egg, Larva, Pupa, and Adult it could be shortened down to ELPA whereas ‘E’ stands for Egg, ‘L’ for Larva, ‘P’ for Pupa and ‘A’ for Adult.
Don’t overstress yourself during the eve of your first paper. Have a nice and good rest to refresh your body and also calm you down as you get ready for your paper. Remember the adage which says “Early to bed, early to rise”. Don’t stay up late till 12 am the day before your first paper, it could affect you very well. Make sure to sleep early and wake up early to go through everything again.
Before or a few hours into the paper do not take any book to read through or learn, this act may confuse you totally and also lead you to the road of failure.
