Black Stars players to receive $75000 appearance fee at 2022 World Cup

Reports coming in indicate that the Ghana Black Stars players will earn a 2022 World Cup appearance of $75,000. This will be for each player as well as the Manager of the side, Otto Addo.
The 2022 World Cup appearance of $75,000 was agreed at a meeting held by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Sports Ministry, according to our sources.
According to Silver FM, a radio station based in Kumasi, each player will also earn $15,000 as a winning bonus at the group stage for every game won by the team during the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The winning bonus will increase each time the team progresses to the next phase of the competition in Qatar.

Ghana will play Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea in the group stages of the tournament, which starts next month.

- Otto Addo per month $25,000
Chris Houghton $20,000 per month
3 George Boateng $10,000 per month
4.Didi Dramani $10,000 per month
Appearance fee: $75,000 each including the players.
Winning bonus:$15,000.
In the latest FIFA ranking, Ghana dropped valuable points to place 61st in the new ranking table ahead of the world cup. This also moved Ghana out of Africa’s top 10 teams. Ghana is currently 11th in Africa after losing 3-0 to Brazil and struggling to beat Nicaragua by a sole goal during their recent World Cup friendly games during the international break. Senegal remains Africa’s number 1 team.
On the CAF top ten, Senegal leads the way, followed by Morocco, Tunisia, Nigeria, Algeria, Egypt, Cameroon, Mali, Ivory Coast, and Burkina Faso in respective order.
