BREAKING: WAEC Releases First Series 2025 Nov/Dec Results

The first series of the 2025 WASSCE Private results has been released in an official statement by WAEC Ghana. WAEC releases the 2025 Nov/Dec results to all candidates who sat and wrote the first batch or series early this year.

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the results for the 12,452 candidates who sat for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates, 2025 First Series.

The total number of candidates includes that sat for the first series was made of 7,998 females and 5,269 males. Also, as usual, 738 candidates who had registered for the examination were absent.

In the official statement that was released by the examination body made known of some malpractices that were detected during the course of the examination. The official statement was released on March 28th, and candidates can now check their results through the official website of the council.

According to the statement, the subject results of 34 candidates have been withheld(W), while the entire results of 43 candidates are also being withheld pending the completion of investigations into the malpractice cases. In case these candidates are found guilty of all these malpractices, they will face appropriate sanctions and have their entire results cancelled.

WAEC assured the public and all stakeholders that it is committed to maintaining the integrity of its examination process and will conclude the investigations promptly.

2,683 candidates representing 43.88% obtained grades ranging from A1 to C6 in English Language, 1,636 candidates (23.57%) also had grades from A1-C6 in Core Mathematics which shows a huge fail as 3,650 candidates (52.59%) had grade F in Core Mathematics.

The Core subject that had the massive chains of F was Integrated Science with 4,011 candidates representing 55.36%. Social Studies saw most candidates scoring between A1 and C6, with less scoring F9.

Enter Your Examination Details

Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your voucher
Verify that your Index Number and Examination Year are correct.
