The 2025 WASSCE Private Candidates Timetable for the First Series has been released by the West African Examination Council (WAEC). This is the first time WAEC Ghana will be organizing a private WASSCE in January and another one in NovDec 2025.
The practical examination will start on January 17th with the Foods and Nutrition 3 (Practical) Planning Session. On 20th January, the French 3 (Oral) will be written by the students. The Foods and Nutrition 3 (Practical) will write the practical paper on 24th January 2024.
All 2024 WASSCE candidates who failed or have had their results withheld or cancelled by WAEC but have not been barred can register for the examination.
Difference in Time on Question Paper and Timetable
Where the duration indicated on the question paper differs from that on the timetable, the one on the question paper should be followed.

PROJECT/PRACTICAL TESTS /FRENCH ORAL UPDATE
1. Candidates offering Biology, Chemistry, Physics and General Agriculture will write the Alternative to Practical tests and will not pay additional fees.
2. Candidates offering subjects under the Vocational programmes will write the actual practical tests in those subjects.
3. Candidates offering Foods and Nutrition and Oral French will be notified of the actual dates and time of the Practical/Oral through their mobile phones using Short Message Service (SMS).
