- COLA DEMO PROPHECY, 2022 : What is to come. This is not good news for teachers.
While teacher unions go to the negotiation table today to bargain for and convince government to offer teachers the 20% COLA they are demanding, a COLA DEMO PROPHECY, 2022 has emerged detailing what is to come.
This information does not look good for teachers and if it should play out, teachers will be the losers.
Below is the COLA DEMO PROPHECY, 2022 : What is to come
1. Govt will begin negotiation with the union leaders today 12th July, 2022
2. On Wednesday Labour Commission will file an Ex-parte motion at a Circuit Court in Accra to seek interlocutory injunction on the strike .
3. Court will rule in favour of Labour Commission and compel the union to call off the strike.
4. The union leaders will organize a press conference and call off the strike temporarily.
5. The union leaders will give government up to end of July, that if nothing happens they will go back to strike.
6. Teachers will be asked to resume work effectively on Monday 18th July, 2022.
7. Angry teachers will accuse their leaders of accepting big fat envelope from government and called off strike .
8 COLA matter will die another natural death
9. NDC and NPP will take up the fight.
10. Partisan teachers (potential COLA beneficiaries) will join to defend and attack.
11. End of Prophecy.
This COLA DEMO PROPHECY, 2022 : What is to come…is not a good news and teacher hope their leaders will map up the best strategies ahead of the meeting today.
