Credibility of Report on School Placement for Sale Scandal Questioned
Validity of a report investigating the School Placement for Sale scandal is questioned by the Ranking Member of Parliament’s Education Committee.
In a recent interview on Joy FM’s Top Story, Dr Clement Apaak expressed his concerns, stating that the report “raises more questions than it answers.”
One of the main issues, according to Dr Apaak, is the lack of transparency from Education Minister, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, regarding who has access to his code.
This attempt to protect the identity of those who were given access to placement in grade ‘A’ schools has sparked further questions and concerns from the public.
“Why were we told that other individuals had access to these placements, yet the identity of these individuals remains unknown?
This report only raises more questions that need to be investigated,” added Dr Apaak.
The Ranking Member’s skepticism towards the report highlights the need for increased transparency and credibility in investigations of such important matters in the education sector.
