FIFA Best Men’s Player Nominees (Full List)

FIFA has announced the nominees for Best Men’s Player award. The qualification period for the Best FIFA Football Awards 2023 runs from 19th December, 2022 to 20th August, 2023.

According to FIFA, the Award will will be given on the basis of on-pitch performance and general conduct on and off the pitch for players, and on the basis of the on-pitch performance and general behaviour of their teams on and off the pitch for coaches.

The Nominees are;

1. Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi won the 2022-23 French Ligue 1, Named in the 2022-23 Ligue 1 Team of the Year, came top in the 2022-23 Ligue 1 assists chart, Scored his 100th goal for Argentina, Became the all-time top scorer in the top five European leagues. He is the favorite to win this award.

2. Julian Alvarez

Won the 2022-23 English Premier League, Won the 2022-23 English FA Cup, Won the 2022-23 UEFA Champions League, Became the first player to win the FIFA World Cup and a European treble in the same season

3. Marcelo Brozovic

He was the 2022-23 UEFA Champions League runner-up, he won the 2022 Supercoppa Italiana, Won the 2022-23 Coppa Italia, became the 2022-23 UEFA Nations League runner-up, Named Player of the Match in the 2022-23 UEFA Nations League final.
