Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, a Ghanaian politician and statesman, said the NPP MPs prevented a military coup.
He said the finance minister’s removal ended the conspiracy.
The NPP MPs’ unusual actions should teach the president.
“This intervention rescued the 4th republic. The MPs’ efforts yesterday completely averted military involvement, and I believe the nation should learn from that.
“Akufo-Addo, as I know, will undoubtedly make efforts to modify their thoughts, if they instead let that, then they will be most loathed individuals in this nation or on the political scene,” he told TV3’s Big Issue program.
Nyaho-Tamakloe said he wasn’t surprised by Ken Ofori-firing, Atta’s even if it was overdue.
He stated that the NPP MPs showed that democracy can be restored.
