Ghanaian tops the Story Mirror T30 Cup Edition Writing Competition (India)

A Ghanaian, Asare Yaw Jamuel has topped the Story Mirror T30 Cup Edition Writing Competition in India to make himself and Ghana proud when it comes to literary works.

On 3^rd February, 2023, CEO and Founder of Story Mirror, Bibhu Datta Rout announced Asare Yaw Jamuel as the winner of the T30 Cup Edition.

It is a fact that Ghanaians are erudites and this has been proven through the exploits of Asare Yaw Jamuel. We should therefore never underestimate and underrate ourselves.

He recently got one of his romance poems titled, “Khadija”  published on Brittle Paper which is one of the most popular online literary magazines styled as “African Literary Blog”.

In November last year, Story Mirror, the world’s largest multilingual stage for writers organized a T30 Cup Edition Writing  Competition of which after careful consideration, a few Indians including one Ghanaian were selected as the final candidates.

Asare Yaw Jamuel has been however given an honorary award as a Literary Lieutenant in the Army of Literary Warriors at Story Mirror.

Biography Of Asare Yaw Jamuel

Asare Yaw Jamuel is a preceptor of English Language, Creative Writing and Spelling Bee (Etymology – Linguistics). He has extensive experience in teaching in international schools. He serves as a member and one of the coordinators of the International English Language Teachers Association. He is also a writer of all genres (that is, prose or prosaic, poetry and drama or play). In 2021, his first published novel that is used by Ghanaian students, “The Repercussions Of Subterfuge (Deception)” won the heart of Gruppo Editoriale Europa, an international publishing group operating in Europe under different brands: United Kingdom ( under the brand name Europe Books), Italy (under the brand name Europa Edizioni), Spain ( under the brand name Europa Ediciones), and Germany (under the brand name Europa Buch). In 2023, he was given a honorary certificate as a literary lieutenant and had the first position in the Story Mirror T30 Cup Edition Writing Competition (E).

Jamuel is a participant of the 7th cohort of the Sprinng Writing Fellowship and thus received a green honorary ribbon and star for demonstrating exemplary leadership during the fellowship, serving as a Peer Captain and supporting fellows during the fellowship. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree with First Class Honours in British and American English Language and Literature, a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification, a honorary certificate from Oxford University Press and a diploma in English Language from World English Institute (USA). He also holds a phonology qualification, a Master’s Degree in International Marketing Management from Athens University in partnership with Cambridge International Qualification, an MBA Essentials with Environmental Health and Safety Management from Athens University in partnership with Acacia University Arizona and a teaching license. He has however received numerous admission offer letters from renowned foreign institutions. These are:
