Hon. Okudzato to provide one month hotel accommodation for newly posted nurses
Hon. Okudzato is to provide one month of hotel accommodation for newly posted nurses to the North Tong constituency. This is the latest update provided by the member of parliament for the North Tong constituency.
In his blog post sighted by Ghanaeducation.org he indicated that the one-month free accommodation will be offered in three different hotels to all nurses who accept posting to the locality.
“Our latest North Tongu MP’s initiative will offer Free One Month Accommodation at three of our leading hotels for newly posted nurses and midwives arriving in my beloved constituency.” the post indicated.
He added that it was part of the MP’s effort towards motivating new nurses until they secure permanent residential accommodation in the constituency.

“This is to provide a conducive welcome package to enable them to settle, work, and secure permanent accommodation,” He said.
Nurses who are posted will be offered free laptops as part of their welcome to the North Tong constituency package from the MP
“During this one-month period, the newly posted nurses and midwives will also receive free laptops from the MP’s office.”
“It is our expectation that this modest intervention will help attract and retain health workers in my beloved constituency, particularly at this time when Ghana is facing a mass exodus of nurses who are leaving the country for better working conditions abroad.”
He further thanks stakeholders who are contributing to the success stories emanating from the North Tong constituency through collaboration and community support.
“I am grateful to the District Health Directorate, and management of Best Care Hotel in Battor, Royal Masito in Mepe, and KOYA Lodge in Juapong for this new partnership which would help save lives.”
