How to apply for Brand New Laptop or Smartphone – Student Loan Trust Fund

Do you know you can get a new laptop or a smartphone as a student from the student loan office? Do you know How to apply for a Brand New Laptop or Smartphone from Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF)?
Keep reading as we disclose all that you need to know. From today, students who apply for financial support from the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) can now receive funds within 30 minutes after applying for the loan. Also, students can apply for Brand New Laptops or Smartphones.
This facility is called the SLTF Laptop/Smartphone Scheme.
How to apply for the SLTF Laptop or Smartphone
The laptop scheme is not a separate loan from the regular student loan. A student who wants to acquire a Laptop must download and fill out the application form from the SLTF website. Once the form is completed, it must be submitted to the SLTF zone or campus office.

Successful students will be informed through text messages as to where to receive the laptop. However, often, the laptop will be delivered to the applicant at the nearest zone or campus office.
In case the laptop develops a fault, the warranty which covers it will apply. This takes care of the hardware, faulty screen, battery, faulty camera, and keyboard.
The laptop models that are supplied to applicants include HP 250 G7, Intel Core i3 2.4 GHz 8th Generation (4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, Genuine Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit Professional edition pre-installed, Genuine Microsoft office Standard license pre-installed,15.6” carrying case).
The cost of the laptops is made known to applicants when they are applying to help them make informed choices. The device is part of the loan you applied for, so it is subject to the same repayment conditions as the normal loan.
