How to Contact University of Ghana for Self-Placement

Since the University of Ghana (UG) announced the introduction of its self-placement module for applicants who met the admission requirements but were not admitted, students and applicants have struggled to find the self-placement portal on the UG admission page.
The procedure provided by the university in an interview with Radio Universe cited by Ghana Education News seems not to be informative and clear enough to enable students and applicants to access the portal. Many students who have contacted this portal have been stressed by the lack of clear guidelines on the official website of the university.
Information systems, online application processes, and admission processes have migrated onto the internet, but the University of Ghana’s Sself-placementsystem has lacked the needed user-friendly nature to provide applicants a seamless process.
The Ghana Education News can confidently state that their self-placement system is not accessible on the admission portal of many applicants who applied for admission and met the cut-off point requirements.
However, students can use the manual pprocess which will also disadvantage applicants who are not in Accra if they want to take advantage of the self-placement process.

What UG got wrong and what needs to be done about the self placement system
The University of Ghana needs to clearly outline the processes students must go through to take advantage of the self-placement system on the admission portal instead of using the granting of interviews to radio stations to communicate this important introduction into its admission processes.
