Instant Karma as iPhone snatcher is knocked dead by victim
Luck run out for an iPhone snatcher at Kwabenya in the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency here in Accra after his victim chased him and knocked him off the motorbike used for the crime. The suspected iPhone snatcher met his untimely death as he did not survive the knock from the car of the victim.
Reports given by those who witnessed the crime suggested that the crime took place at about 8 Pm and that two young guys on a motorbike were knocked off the road by the occupant of a Toyota Vitz with registration number GX-3607-20. The car is reported to have somersaulted and ran into the nearby electric pole, while the two men on the motorbike also crashed within the same area.
From the narratives of eyewitnesses, the two young men who were on the motorbike were suspected to have snatched the iPhone 13 from the driver of the car and in response to the crime, the driver of the Toyota Vitz gave them a chase and knocked them down.
The driver of the Toyota Vitz sustained serious injury and was rushed to the hospital, while one of the unidentified young men knocked down also lied dead on the road.
The second suspect however was not found on the scene, as he is reported to have escaped after the crash.
Officers of the Ghana Police were called to the scene to attend to the victims.

There has been a rise in crime within the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency enclave and this has been attributed to a number of factors including youth laziness, indiscipline and the lack of jobs for idle youth.
