1. You need to be aware of the requirements needed. Per the programme you intend on reading, you need to know all the requirements and documents needed. Also, you need to have researched enough about the college or university of interest. If the school has scholarship programmes available, opt into it.

4. Now, after taking your IELTS or TOEFL, you can proceed to apply to the college or university. Also, note that, some colleges or universities have an application fee which ranges from a hundred dollars to two hundred dollars.

Make sure you carefully fill the application forms, be accurate with your details as a mistake can defect you from the list, and you will have to re-apply again.

After, completing and submitting the forms, you need to wait for your acceptance letter, and that is the intense part.

5. Now, after receiving your acceptance letter, proceed to apply for your study permit. The study permit can be applied online, or you visit the Canadian visa centre in your country. You need to have the following documents before you head to apply for your study permit; valid passport, acceptance letter, proof that you can support yourself upon your arrival in Canada (proof of finance).

Also, note that, if you applied and got accepted into a school in the Quebec Province, then you would receive the CAQ, which is the “Certificate d’acceptation due Québec”.

6. Once your study permit, has been approved by the immigration officer, you need to start planning for your travel. On your study permit, a date will be given to enter Canada, but, you can enter the county 90 days before the start of your course.

Once, you are done with all these, the final step is to get the final approval from the immigration officers at the airport.
