Mubarak Wakaso reveals Christian Atsu’s last words to him before his death

Mubarak Wakaso, Christian Atsu’s closest friend in both real life and on the Blackstars team, has regrettably reacted to the shocking news.

In addition to being teammates, the two were also close friends who frequently exchanged jokes and banter on social media.

Mubarak, who agreed to an interview with one of the radio stations, has opened up about the final conversation he had with Christian before his passing. This comes in the midst of the mourning for Atsu, who lived a full and admirable life.

Wakaso revealed that the last time he spoke to Atsu was on February 6, 2023, soon before the catastrophic earthquake that took Atsu’s life.

He explained that he had phoned Atsu in order to harass him for sharing his winning goal on various social media sites.

While they were still conversing, Atsu informed him that he would contact him back since he had an urgent matter to attend to.

Regrettably, he never received his expected call because he died in the earthquake.
