New Update: 2023 School Placement Checkers To Be Released On Thursday

The Ghana Education Service will release the 2023 School Placement Checkers on Thursday, November 23, according to information that has reached Ghana Education News from a dependable source.
The cost of a unit of the school placement checker is yet to be made public.
However, parents and BECE graduates looking forward to checking their placement online should expect to buy the placement checker between GHS 15.00 and GHS 20.00.
The release of the placement cards for sale will be an indication to the general public that the school placement portal and results are ready to go live and be accessed globally.
Parents and 2023 BECE graduates should, however, take note of the following:
- Students who are placed automatically cannot change their school or use the self-placement module unless, for instance, a male student is placed in an all-female school.
- The school placement checker can be used unlimited times.
- Students who are not placed in any of their 11 schools but pass will be required to do self-placement if they do not fail Maths or English. A fail is described as scoring a grade of 9 in either math or English.
- Ensure you add the number 23 to your index number when checking your placement.
- Note that there are scammers who will promise you that they will be able to change the school into which you have been placed automatically. Be careful; you are not being scammed.
