The WAEC-administered WASSCE for school candidates’ results is expected to be released in the coming week. In this all-important update post, we provide information obtained from a deep-throat source.

The WASSCE 2023 School Results are expected to be released on or before December 16, 2023, since university admissions will have to be released on time for applicants who gain admission to report to school in January 2024.

For instance, new level 100 students (freshers) are expected to report to the University of Ghana campus on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024, per the latest update from the management of the university. This means the WASSCE results have to be released soon to enable the various universities to complete their admission lists and update applicants, which will help parents and students get ready to start their admission registration process on January 2, 2024.

Candidates who gain admission to any of the universities will receive an SMS alert. He or she must visit the particular university’s admission portal to print out their admission details, know the registration procedures, and start and complete the registration ahead of orientation and lectures.

Per the information gathered, WAEC is already uploading the WASSCE results for 2023 school candidates to the result portal.

Visit the result portal at

Enter your index number correctly.

Select the type of examination (e.g., WASSCE school).

Select your examination year, e.g., 2003.

Enter the serial number found on the voucher.

Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your voucher, e.g., 012345678912.

Confirm your index number and examination year. This is to ensure that your examination information is correct.

Click on Submit and wait for the display in the pop-up window. This may take several minutes.
