Operation Boycott MTN: Ghanaians To Boycott MTN Tomorrow
The operation boycott MTN is scheduled to start tomorrow, 1st December 2023. This boycott operation was set by members of the fix Ghana now 2023.
The operation boycott MTN came in as a result of the increase in data prices from MTN Ghana. Few days ago, MTN sent a communiqué which was effective 28th November 2023. This communiqué was in relation to the increase in MTN products, which data prices is included.

“Dear Valued Customer, kindly be informed that effective 28th November 2023, the prices of MTN products will revise upwards due to the increased operational costs. Continue enjoying our special offers on our network”
This message was sent to all MTN users across the country. In regard to this communiqué, as at now 17.79 MB goes for GHC 0.5, 23.57 for GHC 1 and 349.24 for 3 Ghana cedis.
The organizers behind the #OccupyJulorbiHouse protest, commented on the current situation with MTN. More than half of the Ghanaian population uses MTN day in and day out.
An operation has been launched to boycott MTN effective tomorrow, 1st December 2023 3am to the next morning.
In a Facebook post released by FIX GHANA NOW 2023, shows the operation date and time. The ideal goal of the operation is to create awareness and mount pressure on MTN Ghana to revise their data offers for the Ghanaian people. At the moment, buying data is so expensive on MTN Ghana and does not last long as well.
