Pass 2024 BECE Challenge: Tip 1 On How To Pass Any Exams (Avoid Chew and Poor)
In this Pass 2024 BECE Challenge, we share with you our first tip on how to pass any exam, which is “avoid chew and pour; pass and forget.” This method is also called rote learning.
Why learn with the only intention being to pass, let’s say your mock? If you forget what you learned before the main examination, you will be in big trouble. Your aim for studying must be to study, understand what you learn, and retain the knowledge.
Pass 2024 BECE Challenge: Tip 1 on How to Pass Any Exams (Avoid Chew and Pour)
Avoid last-minute cramming (Chew and pour); start preparation early.
Passing the BECE or any examination requires good preparation. Good preparation starts with early preparation. Sadly, there are students who wait until the last few days or one week before the examination, then start memorising by heart. This will not help you get the right grades and can have serious health implications.
To avoid the danger of being stressed with last-minute reading and learning, we advise that you start your preparation for the BECE now. One benefit of starting early is that you will be able to cover more topics. Where you have challenges, you can also seek the best help from your teachers, friends, and classmates, who often do not have enough time to spend on you when they are also preparing at the last minute.
The reality is that last-minute preparation leaves lots of loopholes in your examination preparation, and this could have been covered with timely preparation.
Have a good and flexible timetable, break the topics to learn into smaller units, and work on them. Be disciplined throughout the next 30 days and ensure that you have enough sleep, eat healthily, exercise, and have time for games and social interaction.
Do not behave as though all that is left in life is the examination.
Solve at least 40 objective tests each day. The objective test you solve should be related to the subject you learn each day. Do not go to bed without revising what you learned during the day.
