The attention of Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education, Ghana (PRINCOF) has been drawn to an online publication by colemanpublication.com on August 26, 2023 , th4 Colleges of Education have postponed the second semester reopening date for Level 200 students to Wednesday, August 30, 2023. We wish to state unequivocally that the reopening date of August 27, 2023, remains unchanged for the Level 200 students across all th4 46 public Colleges of Education in Ghana. Students, parents, and the general public should disregard th4 said publication.
While PRINCOF acknowledges that the absence of our tutors from the classrooms since 1st August 2023 is having an impact on teaching and learning in the Colleges of Education, we are convinced that the issue would be restored within the shortest possible time.
PRINCOF once again wants to make a passionate appeal to our hardworking academic staff to call off the strike and return to the classroom in the interest of our students while we continue with the engagements with all the parties to resolve the outstanding issues.
