With the 2026 BECE marking underway, the Ghanaeducation.org team has released the 2026 BECE Career Technology Marking scheme for the exam.
This marking scheme shared covers only the pre-technical skills aspect of the paper. The catering section marking scheme is currently not available through this portal.
The 2026 BECE Career Technology paper is expected to be marked by three different examiners.
- The Core section of the paper is expected to be marked by a different examiner.
- The Pre-Technical Skills section will also be marked by another set of examiners.
- The Catering or Vocational Skills section will also be examined by another set of examiners.
The above is because the paper has three sections that demand different specializations for marking and grading.
After all three sections have been marked, the total score of each student will be determined. The use of specialized examiners will ensure the best examiners with the right knowledge grade the various sections of the paper fairly.
The 2026 BECE Career Technology marking scheme would be useful to teachers, schools, and candidates. Teachers can use the scheme as useful revision material for their next batch of candidates. Students who sat the exam can use the same material as an answer cross-checking material.
