The faces of the 14 Suspects in the Maj Mahama Homicide Case have been made public for the first time since the case started.
For the first time, GHOne TV has shown the faces of 14 men standing trial over the murder of a young military Maj Mahama, officer in the Central Region in 2017.
An angry crowd at Denyira-Obuasi lynched the late officer, Major Maxwell Mahama, after they thought he was an armed burglar.
The gang smashed him to death with stones, building blocks, and sticks, then they burned him alive, capturing the harrowing incident on video, which went viral and upset the nation after it was released.
The case has been in court since then.
The latest update from the Accra-based media house shows a group of young men, all dressed in white tops and plain black or grey trousers, escorting themselves out of what appears to be a courtroom.
Some uniformed security personnel from the Ghana Prisons Service stand side by side with the men, allowing them to file past in between them while they are handcuffed in pairs or twos.
The video caption on X said that there were 14 people accused of murder of Maj Mahama Maxwell.
The Accra Central District Court has ordered the 14 people accused of killing Major Maxwell Adam Mahama as Denkyira Obuasi to stand trial for murder at the High Court.
The accused persons include William Baah, the Assemblyman from Denkyira Obuasi, Bernard Asamoah, also known as Daddy, Kofi Nyarko, also known as Abortion, Akwasi Baah, Kwame Tuffour, Joseph Appiah Kubi, Michael Anim, and Bismarck Donkor.
Emmanuel Badu, Bismarck Abanga, and Kwadwo Anima are some of the others.

They have been charged with murder of Maj Mahama and conspiracy to commit murder.
After state prosecutors indicted 14 people for the death of the military officer, the court, headed by Mr Ebenezer Kweku Ansah, reached a decision.
