St. Mary’s Seminary SHS 2025 Speech and Prize-Giving Ceremony and Homecoming Stakeholder Consultation Meeting Held

As part of preparations towards the upcoming 2025 Speech and Prize-Giving Ceremony and Homecoming event for St Mary’s Seminary High School, the school leadership and its stakeholders have held an important meeting to work towards the event.
The mega events on the school’s calendar are expected to be held in June, 2025. To commence preparations towards a memorable and successful celebration, the Headmaster of St Mary’s Seminary High School, Rev. Fr. Felix Akpah, led a delegation comprising staff members and two representatives of the National Executive – Mr Senyo N. Kporku, the National Secretary, and Mr. Kudjo Mawufemor, the organiser – to pay a courtesy visit to the Oti Regional Minister, Hon. Gyanpong Kudjo.

The delegation also met with the Member of Parliament for Guan, Hon. Fred Agbenyo, and the newly appointed District Chief Executive (DCE) for Guan, Hon. Godfred Koffie Dukormevi
During the closed-door meeting, the Oti Regional Minister assured the delegation of his commitment to support the school.
He stated that he would make time to visit the school before the June event and promised to attend the ceremony, potentially in the company of the Minister for Education.
The Member of Parliament appealed to the Regional Minister to assist him in developing the school. He noted that, having personally visited the institution, he recognised the urgent need for support.

The new DCE also pledged his support and promised to work diligently to help address some of the school’s challenges.
In response, representatives of the Old Students’ Association, together with the Headmaster, expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to engage with the dignitaries and assured them of continued communication and collaboration.

St Mary’s Seminary High School is therefore calling on all old students, public and private institutions and the general public to come on board to support these key events in the school’s calendar year.
