The National Teaching Council (NTC) has disclosed that its outfit will from June 1, 2021, commence the issuance of teacher license cards to all qualified in-service teachers stationed in the Central region.
This is part of efforts aimed at ensuring the NTC carried its activities to all teachers in their respective regions.
Teacher license card issuing – Closing date for Central Region
The NTC disclosed the date for issuance of teacher license cards in the Central Region in a post sighted by Ghanaeducation.org. The activity would end on June 19, 2021.
The National Teaching Council (NTC) has therefore called on all teachers stationed in the region who were engaged by the GES from before September 1, 2018, to visit the NTC’s Teacher Portal Ghana (TPG) via tpg.ntc.gov.gh and register for the license card and registration number.
“Qualified teachers who fail to avail themselves for this licensing and registration exercise shall lose their right to practice as teachers in Ghana in accordance with section 64 (I) of the Education Regulatory Bodies Act, 2020, Act 1023,” the Teaching Council said in the post.
