To All BECE Candidates: Do These Four Things To Pass Your BECE

The day for the final BECE examination is drawing near and most BECE candidates have developed some mixed feelings. That is to say, some BECE candidates are happy to finally complete their primary education. Others have become tensed and nervous and developed examination fever all of a sudden. As an experienced student who has written three WAEC examinations; BECE, NOV/DEC(In SHS 2), and finally WASSCE, this is a piece of simple advice to the BECE candidates.
- Do not rely on Apor
The author has seen different groups of students who failed just because they fully depended on some alleged leaked questions from WAEC. In this current era, there is a low possibility that questions will leak from WAEC. Rather, BECE candidates must try their hands at all questions they get hold of. They must not rely on only one question. These questions can be mock from other schools, sample questions on social media, past questions, and review questions from reliable textbooks.
- Do not attempt to copy or engage in examination malpractices
Trust me, WAEC has reserved some strong punishments for students who have decided to engage in examination malpractice. The author has heard of cases where WAEC bars guilty candidates from writing WAEC exams for years. Also, some candidates have their results blocked. There are other serious implications

- Spend some time in prayers
The author, out of the experience, believes that prayer is key to passing an examination. He can attest to testimonies of how students passed with flying colors just because they prayed. However, students are warned not to spend all their time praying. After all, God helps those who help themselves. It is very prudent for candidates to desist from all immoral acts and pray to their maker(God /Allah), seeking for creditable success in their exams.
- Take a break from using mobile phones and watching television for this short time period.
This is self-explanatory.
