Here are the top 10 Universities in the World 2024! While the University of Oxford remains at number one, Harvard University has moved up to fourth place.
There is a need to learn about these top-ranked schools of higher learning, whether it is to choose where to study or simply to admire them.
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024 rate schools based on four performance indicators: teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook. Studygreen.info lists the top ten universities in the world for 2024.

Interestingly, seven of the top ten best universities listed above are all in the United States, with the other three in the United Kingdom. Let’s have a brief look at the top five schools on the leaderboard.
1. University of Oxford [UK]
The institution of Oxford, ranked first on the list, is a college research institution in Oxford, England. It is considered the oldest university in the English-speaking world. It is a public institution that now has approximately 6,650 faculty members and 8,259 international students.
2. Stanford University [US]
Stanford University is a private college located in California, United States. It was founded in 1891 and today has 4,478 faculty members and 15,157 students, of which around 3,665 are international students.
3. Massachusetts Institute of Technology [U.S.]
MIT, or “MIT,” is ranked third. The school’s mission, which currently has slightly over 1,000 students and over 12,852 staff, is to promote knowledge and educate students in science, technology, and other areas of scholarship that will best serve the nation and the world in the twenty-first century.
4. Harvard University [U.S.]
According to Wikipedia, Harvard University is the oldest university in the United States, having been established in 1636 and named for its first benefactor, priest John Harvard.
