The Students of the University of Education, Winneba UEW have been urged to exercise patience as the academic board is yet to discuss the reopening date of the school
Students with much anticipation want to know when school will resume so as to prepare for it.
The 2nd semester for the University of Education Winneba ended on 30th September as scheduled by the Academic board.
A message from the Head of Department (HOD) for the Department of History, Mrs. Anitha Oforiwaa Adu-Boahen has indicated that by the end of the month the reopening date for students will be out.
She further called on students to exercise patience as the Academic board is yet to discuss the reopening date.
It is expected that the school reopening date made public by the end of the month. The release of the reopening date is expected to come with the tuition fees and accommodation and other fees for both freshers and continuing students.

In a related development, Professor Andy Ofori-Birikorang has been officially notified to act as Vice-Chancellor until the appointment of a substantive Vice-Chancellor. His mandate takes effect from today, 1st October, 2021.

The tenure of Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni officially ended on 30th September, 2021. Pursuant to Section 14 (2)(b) of the University of Education, Winneba Act, 2004 (Act 672) and Statute (10(21) of UEW Statutes (2020), Professor Andy Ofori-Birikorang, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba is mandated to act as Vice-Chancellor of the University.
