UG announced new admission closing date and requirements

The University of Ghana (UG), following the release of the delayed 2024 WASSCE results, has announced a new admission closing date. It has also issued a directive for students to follow ahead of the closing of the university’s admission portal.

In a public notice dated 30th December 2024, the university instructed all applicants seeking admission into UG to log into the admission portal to undertake the following:

1. Review the accuracy of their admission entries, especially:
   a. Full names and date of birth.
   b. Examination records, such as index number, examination month, and year.

The university has also directed all applicants to carefully review the 2024/2025 cut-off points before finalizing their admission data.

The admission portal will close on January 3rd, 2025, ahead of the release of admissions.

Students who are yet to apply for admission can still do so since the admission portal remains open. Interested applicants can purchase an e-voucher using the Momo short code *887*9#.

The application portal will, however, close at midnight on 3rd January 2025.
