University of Ghana Post-First Degree Programme – How To Apply

Here is how to apply for the Post-first degree programme at the University of Ghana. These are steps for both Ghanaian and International students who wants to apply for the Post-first degree programme at the University of Ghana.
Steps on how to apply for Ghanaian applicants
Ghanaian applicants can purchase University of Ghana online application E-VOUCHERS at the following banks for GH220.00: Access Bank, Ecobank, Republic Bank, Agricultural Development Bank, GCB Bank, Zenith Bank, Universal Merchant Bank, Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), Prudential Bank, and Fidelity Bank.
Additionally, before the specified application deadline, applicants must provide or submit the following necessary documents online, namely:
1. A scanned copy of your original certificate
2. A scanned copy of your transcript
3. Provide at least three(3) Academic references
4. In your own handwriting, kindly provide an honest assessment of who you are as a person. List the qualities that, in your opinion, make up both your strengths and your weaknesses, ranking them according to importance. You must sign the written self-evaluation with your usual signature.
5. Proof of Application (Applicants have access to this once they are done with their online application)
NB: All the requirements above should be done online via PDF format and not hardcopy.
Steps on How to apply as a Ghanaian applicant;

3. Fill in with the e-voucher and serial PIN.
4. Complete the online application by filling in with your personal information.
International Students – How to apply
Those from abroad should NOT purchase the e-voucher. To access the online application form and complete it, they should access the online portal through this LINK.
The University requires a US$110.00 non-refundable application processing fee from each applicant. You can send this fee to the University of Ghana’s ECOBANK account or pay it in cash. The details are below;

NB: The pay-in-slips together with applicants’ certificates/result slips should be scanned and attached to the application form before submission online. The certificates/results slips should be scanned into one PDF or WORD document and attached to the application form.
