Duties
Under general supervision of the GSO, incumbent will primarily conduct real estate property searches, inspections and arrange coordination with parties of interests (i.e., Post housing, OBO, FM, RSO) with land/property owners. This includes preparation of documentation, reports and scheduling on-site visits between interested parties. Serve as lead coordinator for all correspondence between Post, OBO and Landowners. Conduct market surveys and analysis for data collection and reporting.
Qualifications and Evaluations
- Requirements:
- EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years’ experience in a job that required coordination of several different entities and programs simultaneously. Negotiation skills required to influence and assess viability of bona fide real property matters and required assessment agendas. Some knowledge of real estate markets, processes and follow-up as needed.
- Education Requirements:
- Mandatory: U.S. High school diploma or host country equivalent is required.
- Evaluations:
- LANGUAGE: Level IV – Fluent and high degree of proficiency in both written and spoken English language. (This may be Tested)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must possess good negotiating skills. Must have good organizational and coordinating skills. Must be adept at cultivating business relationships with local landowners, brokers, realtors, utility companies and government officials. Must have strong interpersonal skills for dealing the mission personnel and outside contacts. Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 5 years prior. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance.
Security clearance level required for this position is: Ability to receive and hold Secret security clearance.
