2022 NSMQ Prelims: Competing Schools Arrive At KNUST Ahead Of Contests
The schools competing in this year’s National Science & Maths Quiz (NSMQ) have arrived at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. This is the first step on the way to finding the winner (KNUST).

About 117 schools will come to KNUST in the next two days before preliminary contests begin on Monday, October 10.
Finalists and Semifinalists may win “juicy” prize packages from @gheduservice and @AbsaGhana.
The first day of #NSMQPrelims is Monday, October 10, 2022.
Mfantsipim School, Achimota School, and St. Thomas Aquinas SHS, all of which have won the NSMQ in the past, will start their campaigns from the preliminary round this year since they didn’t make it past the eighth round last year.

“54 of the 117 schools that are competing in this year’s preliminary round will be here today. We have also set up the places where the competitions will take place. We are ready to start the competitions on Monday.

“This year, the preliminary rounds will be held from Monday to Thursday at three different places. “The Primetime team has been working hard to make sure everything goes off without a hitch,” he said.
From October 10 to October 26, 2022, the championship will be held in Kumasi for the second time.
The second day will have 12 matches. There will be some big names and interesting matches.
Already, many NSMQ fans want the defending champions, Prempeh College, to win the trophy for the sixth time to match the number of times Presec-Legon has won it.
The schedule for Wednesday, October 12, 2022, looks like it will be a midweek extravaganza with 9 great games.

On the last day of the Preliminary Stage, schools will compete to see who will move on to the One-Eighth Stage. After the last competition on Thursday, October 13, balloting for the One-Eighth Stage competitions will happen.
